Membership

Join the Transform Alliance Africa and amplify your organisation’s impact in the movement to end institutional care and strengthen family-based care across the continent.

Why Join Us

TAA membership gives your organisation a collective voice at national, regional, and continental levels. Members participate in joint advocacy to the ACERWC and the African Union, access shared research and advocacy toolkits, exchange knowledge and practice across 12 countries, and contribute to TAA’s positioning in global care reform processes, including UN. The Alliance’s strength is its collective voice. That voice grows with every member.

  • Collective advocacy reach
  • Knowledge exchange
  • Capacity-building webinars and toolkits
  • Increase your organizations profile in global care reform processes

Who can Join TAA?

TAA membership is open to:

  • Registered national and international non-governmental organisations engaged in programme delivery, capacity building, research and/or and advocacy on care reform in line with Alliance’s vision and mission
  • Registered national associations of young people with lived care experience
  • Academic and research institutions and individuals with an interest in the welfare and rights of children without parental care

TAA members (Full and Associate Members) are requested be formally constituted and to operate in at least one African country.

As a coalition, Transform Alliance Africa accepts membership applications solely from individual organizations. Coalitions, networks, or umbrella bodies are not eligible for membership.
